These are the terms for using Talk a Little. By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to them.
Talk a Little is a grown-ups' app. You must be 18 or older and acting as a parent or carer to create an account. It's not intended to be used directly by children, and no part of the app is designed for a child to interact with themselves.
Talk a Little suggests small, everyday activities for talking, reading, and rhyming with your child. It's a set of ideas, not a curriculum, and it's entirely optional to use in any particular way. It isn't a substitute for professional speech and language advice — if you have concerns about your child's development, please speak with a health visitor, GP, or speech and language therapist.
If you create your own activity card and submit it for review:
Please don't submit anything abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate for a family app, or that infringes someone else's rights. Please don't attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Any donation made through our donation page is a voluntary contribution toward hosting costs, not a purchase of goods or services, and is non-refundable except where required by law.
Talk a Little is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, add, or remove features over time — including this one, we hope not too often.
To the extent permitted by law, Talk a Little isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't legally be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that clearly violate these terms.
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Talk a Little after an update means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
